Site Visit and Robotics Studio

The confirmed date for our Site Visit has been set for July 9th, 2007.

We have posted another technical article detailing how we use Microsoft’s recently released Robotics Studio framework on our system.

Other upcoming events include a demonstration day on June 21st, and our participation in the annual P-Rade at Princeton Renunions on June 2nd.

In response to the recent announcement that PAVE has been selected as one of 53 teams to qualify for a site-visit evaluation by DARPA officials, we have received additional publicity. In addition, we are still searching for a name for our competition vehicle. If you have any suggestions, or would be interested in sponsoring the naming of our vehicle, please let us know.

Site Visit

May 13th, 2007

PAVE is proud to announce that we have been accepted by DARPA to have a site-visit evaluation. The site-visit is the next stage in the multi-step qualification process leading up to the final race on November 3, 2007. Teams that pass the site-visit will move on to the two-part National Qualifying Event (NQE), which will be held in late October, 2007. 52 other teams were also granted site-visits. The site-visit will take place in mid- to late- June. We will release the actual date once it is confirmed. Our site-visit demonstration will be open to the public. Please contact us if you would be interested in attending.
