Built in the game engine Unity, PAVE’s simulator project features infinite procedurally generated road systems, a growing suite of sensors, camera, vehicle physics, traffic with artificial intelligence and more.

Our current plan is to add more complex road generation (including intersections and forks) and more road components such as traffic lights, signs, and pedestrian crossings.

Additionally, we hope to soon interface with ROS, P13’s operating system, so we can have the car’s code control the simulated P13.
